No news

I wish I was posting the announcement of the birth of our baby, but still no sign of it's arrival! The due date (yesterday) came and went and we are into a new week. I have been told that when a baby passes the due date it's usually a boy, but I know of at least 4 instances when the baby was 8-9 days late and they were all girls... so much for that! I read a very interesting article from the Mayo Clinic which said,

Although your due date may seem to have magical qualities, it's simply an educated guess about when your baby is most likely to arrive. It's perfectly normal to give birth one to two weeks before — or after — your due date. In fact, your pregnancy must continue two weeks past your due date to earn the official label of overdue pregnancy, also known as post-term pregnancy.

Not only am I anxious to get into the new routine of 2 children but I have other concerns as well, and this delay makes it harder!
Will I be able to care for 2 at the same time?
Will I have time for myself and husband?
Will I be able to lose this weight?
Will the baby sleep?
Will this baby be as mild-mannered as my little Jane?

This is why I am impatient.
